The annual four-month fishing ban in the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea ended on Sept 1. This is good news for seafood lovers in Dalian, Liaoning province, which sits on the boundary between the two seas.

In the next several months, residents and tourists in Dalian can enjoy large selections of mouth-watering fresh seafood, including crab, shrimp, jellyfish, clam, sea snail, oyster, scallops or luxury items like abalone, sea cucumber and sea urchin.

This year’s seafood price is reported to be lower, according to Dalian Daily. For example, the saury fished from the Bohai Sea is sold for 40 yuan ($5.86) to 50 yuan per pound compared with 100 to 150 yuan last year.

So, what's the best place to buy the freshest seafood in Dalian at a low price? Below are several popular seafood markets in the city that you must visit to put the freshest catch on your dining table.
