Shenyang to boost tourism

A plan to boost Shenyang's tourism, by creating a tourist center in Shenyang was recently launched. Shenyang is the central city in Northeast China.

In addition, coastal areas in Liaoning are expected to develop into seaside resorts with access to beautiful sea and islands. The tourism belts around Liaoning could turn into world-renowned destinations for cultural tourism with the advantage of having world-class cultural heritage.

Folk culture is a unique feature of Northeast China, and Liaoning province is aiming to turn this into a special brand in the future. Nearby, other cities including Dalian, Anshan, Fushun, and Jinzhou also plan to build their own tourism brands based on different tourism orientations.

Furthermore, to provide more convenience to visitors, traffic will be improved by connecting some scenic areas with highways.
