Dalian gets direct flight to Jeju Island

A new direct flight was launched between Dalian, Liaoning province and Jeju Island in South Korea, on Aug 20.

The new service will be operated by Chunqiu Airlines, and will travel directly between Dalian and Jeju Island every day.

Flight 9C8563 departs Dalian at 17: 50 and arrives in Jeju at 20:35. The return flight operates as 9C9564 and departs Jeju at 20: 35, before arriving in Dalian at 21:55.

Prior to this, passengers traveling from Dalian would need to fly from South Korea’s capital Seoul to reach Jeju Island.

More air routes are expected to be opened between Dalian and Northeast and Southeast Asia, connecting the city to countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
