Shenyang hosts international flight convention

The seventh Shenyang Faku AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of China) International Flight Convention, which this year has a theme of innovation, sharing and mutual benefits, was held from Aug 18 to 20 in Faku county, Shenyang, Northeast China's Liaoning province.

The event took place at Shenyang general aviation industrial base in Faku, with participation by representatives from over 300 general aviation companies all around the world, and by teams working on unmanned aircraft, with 100,000 visitors in attendance.

Visitors to the convention were able to enjoy aerobatic shows and sightseeing above Caihu Lake. In addition, activities such as displays by military aircraft, exhibitions of commercial aircraft, helicopter flight demonstrations, and a summit forum on the construction and development of the general aviation town in Faku took place.

Meetings between purchasers and suppliers were also held as part of the event's commercial activities.

For visitors particularly keen to pilot an aircraft, various opportunities were available, including the use of various flight simulators.
