The emergency rescue positioning system has come online on the official WeChat account of the Xuchang-Pingdingshan-Nanyang (Xu-Ping-Nan) Expressway.

A feature of the expressway's official WeChat account, the rescue positioning system solves the issue of drivers not knowing their exact position on the expressway when they need help.

Drivers can easily send their location to the rescue station through the official account of Xu-Ping-Nan Expressway. Rescue forces, such as the highway administration, will arrive at the specific location as soon as possible after being informed by expressway staff.

The Xu-Ping-Nan Expressway extends to the developed areas of Jiangsu province, Shanghai and Hangzhou city in the east, to Hubei, Chongqing, Hunan, Guizhou and Sichuan province in the south, and to Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, and Qinghai in the northwest.

The expressway is a golden passage between the Central Plains and Southwest China, which is of great economic and political significance as it helps drive economic development, particularly in the Central Plains, and also contributes to the "develop-the-west" strategy.
