4.Geological Museum of China, Yantai Branch

The Geological Museum of China, Yantai Branch is a thematic museum featuring mineral resources which combine natural science and human art. It has 14 exhibition areas with themes including fossils, mineral resources, biology, ancient Chinese coins and root carving sub-exhibitions.

The museum also has a 4D movie theater, precious jewel identification center and lecture hall. In the outdoor square, it displays a 48-meter-long silicified wood fossil, which is unique to the museum.

5. Longkou Vermicelli Museum of China

China Longkou Vermicelli Museum is located in Yantai's Zhaoyuan, which is known as the "capital of vermicelli" in China.  

China Longkou Vermicelli Museum covers 4,000 square meters. It presents the history of China's vermicelli culture via pictures, video and physical displays. It also tells the story of the producing, transportation and selling of the type of noodle from Chinese ancient times to the present day for visitors.

The museum has received around one million tourists from home and abroad making it a well-known name card for the city.
