Located in Lushun district, Dalian, Liaoning province, Lushun Museum was established in 1915 when the area was part of Chinese territory leased by Japan.

The museum was ranked in the first list of national first-class museums in 2018. It was opened to the public in April 2013 and offers free entry.

The museum hosts a main hall and a smaller hall, with over 60,000 cultural relics and thousands of related materials.

The main hall covers an area of 6,000 square meters, displaying bronze ware, ceramics, Buddha statues and ancient currencies.

The branch hall was built in 2000 and covers an area of 5,000 square meters. It exhibits unearthed cultural relics and regularly plays host to guest exhibitions in its multi-functional room.

Opening hours: 9:00-16:30 (Closed on Mondays)

                          Entrance closes at 16:00
