Legal Education Center for Minors opens in ZETDZ

A Legal Education Center for Minors was officially launched at the Youth Activity Center in the Zhanjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone (ZETDZ) on July 25.
The Legal Education Center was jointly established by the Youth League Committee, the Procuratorate and the Judicial Bureau of ZETDZ. It has three major features: the law library, the law education wall, and law classes.
The facility will focus on legal promotion, consultation and youth rights protection services. It aims to improve awareness of the law among minors so that they can better protect themselves, and to provide a suitable social environment for them.
A group of law lecturers was also set up at the opening ceremony. Ten professional youth lawyers will conduct 10 educational campaigns for the prevention of juvenile delinquency in the second half of the year.
