The Chinese Audit Museum is the first audit-themed museum in the world and a public institution directly affiliated to the National Audit Office of the People's Republic of China. It displays the development of auditing in China for more than 3000 years in four exhibition halls: ancient China, modern China, audits in the PRC, and audit results and reports. Opening in April 2008, it is committed to spreading knowledge about auditing, promoting its culture and popularizing its achievements. It plays a positive role in telling good Chinese auditing stories and describing contemporary audit trends.
