Dahua's products become popular at Guangxi's aquaculture expo

Fishery and animal husbandry products of Dahua Yao autonomous county in Hechi came under spotlight at the second China (Guangxi) Aquatic Animal Husbandry Expo held in Nanning from June 22 to 24.

Local characteristic agricultural products with geographical indications like bullhead, Qibainong chickens and goats were popular among purchasers from the catering industry and grand hotels in Nanning, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing. They all showed a willingness to establish a long-term supply and marketing partnership with Dahua's enterprises.

Raised or planted in particular areas, the quality and characteristics of these products depend on the natural environment and historical and cultural factors of their originating areas; the products' names are often geographic.

The expo attracted more than 300 enterprises from home and abroad to hunt for business opportunities. With the subject of "Ecological Breeding, Green Development", the exhibition displayed over 700 products, including advanced breeding equipment, veterinary drugs, feedstuffs and different kinds of seafood, which offered attendees various opportunities to invest and exchange techniques.

Sponsored by the Guangxi Association for Improving Animal and Fishery Leading Producers, the three-day free exhibition was intended to bring together resources and popularize technical cultivation techniques in the Guangxi breeding industry.
