Closed golf course to re-open as park in August

A new public park is being built in Harbin on the site of a golf course, which closed on May 18. 

Renovations are now well underway on the site, which will reopen as a park in August. 

The closed golf course, which belongs to Harbin International Golf Club, is located at No 63, Ganshui Road in Nangang district, and covers an area of 1,192 square meters.

All the buildings and greening areas in the golf course will be kept.

Fields for tennis, badminton and table tennis will be constructed as sports facilities in the new park.

Other facilities including  two squares, restrooms, rain shelters and benches will also be built.
