Shenyang issues third-level flood warning

Due to heavy rainfall expected to hit Shenyang, Liaoning province the city’s Flood Control Headquarters decided to issue a third-level flood warning on July 11, urging all units to keep a close watch on the changing weather conditions and to be aware of possible dangers.

Heavy rains and possible storms are forecast to hit between July 11 and 12, with heavy showers moving from southeast to northwest over the city. 

Kangping district and Faku district will be exposed to heavy rainfall and storms, with an average of 30-60 milometers of rain falling in parts. There will be moderate rainfall (10-30mm) in urban areas, including Hunnan, Shenbei, Yuhong, Sujiatun, Xinmin, and Liaozhong districts.
