HBC boilers to serve Pakistan’s power plant

Harbin Boiler Co (HBC), subsidiary of Harbin Electric Corporation(HE)—China’s leading power equipment producer, will export two 660MW ultra supercritical thermal power boilers to Pakistan, according to a deal established between HBC and HE on June 30.
The two boilers will serve a coal-fired power plant in Jamshoro town in Pakistan, which has a total installed capacity of 1,320 MW.
Once put into use, the power plant is expected to help Pakistan adjust energy consumption structure and boost local economic development.
