The Zhanjiang division of the China Open Amateur Tour concluded in the city's Sports Center on July 1, after two days of competition among nearly 150 tennis lovers from Guangdong and Hunan provinces, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, and Taiwan.

Founded in 2009, the event has grown into the most influential and high-profile amateur tennis match in the country.

It has three series based on player skill level: 3.0 (play for fun), 4.0 (elite) and 5.0 (master). The 3.0 and 4.0 series feature singles, doubles and mixed, while the 5.0 series only has singles and doubles.

In the Zhanjiang division, Li Wenzhou won first place for men's singles, while Chen Ke and Huang Sheng clinched the title of men's doubles at the 4.0 level. First place in men's and women's singles at the 3.0 level went to Wu Xiejiang, and Yi Lina took gold, respectively. Wu is also the winner of men's doubles at the 3.0 level, along with his partner Mai Chunshuo.

These contestants will compete against other standouts from the Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang, Zhengzhou, Chongqing, Wuhan, Nanchang, Guangzhou and Dongguan divisions at the national finals, which will take place in October.
