Hechi achieves steady and rapid economic development in H1

Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has maintained sound and stable economic growth in the first half of 2018, according to an economic analysis conference held in Jinchengjiang district, Hechi on June 25.

In an overview of Hechi's development throughout the first half year, the meeting made plans for the next phase of development and put forward targets and goals.

In the first five months, the total output value of industries above a designated size in Hechi increased by 22.7 percent year-on-year, over 10 percentage points higher than the target set by the autonomous region, while fixed asset investments increased by 14.1 percent year-on-year, ranking fifth in Guangxi.

Fiscal revenue soared to a five-year high with a year-on-year growth of 23.1 percent, ranking second in Guangxi.

The conference also demanded that all departments keep a close watch on fixed asset investment growth, major project construction progress and the central budget investment plan in order to ensure the successful completion of the first half year and annual targets.
