Heilongjiang promotes culture industry at HTF

An exhibition aimed at promoting the intangible cultural heritage of Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province and boosting the region’s culture industry was held during the 29th Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair (HTF), from June 15 to 19.

The exhibition gave visitors an opportunity to view traditional crafts such as carving, paper cutting, knitting embroidery, seal drawing and sand painting; with demonstrations given by craftspeople skilled in traditional art forms. Meanwhile, visitors also had the opportunity to sample different crafts for themselves. 

The exhibition is designed to help more people from home and abroad learn about Heilongjiang’s traditional crafts, as well as push forward the cultural creative industries of the province.
