Zhanjiang holds yoga sports meeting to promote mass fitness

The 2018 Zhanjiang All-Resident Yoga Sports Meeting was held in the Zhanjiang Olympic Sports Center on June 16.
The event was sponsored by the Zhanjiang Federation of Trade Unions with the support of the Zhanjiang Sports Bureau. It was aimed at enriching the spiritual life of citizens and promoting the culture and practice of yoga.
More than 1,000 yoga enthusiasts of all ages took part. They were categorized into individuals, associations, enterprises and administrative institutions while performing this ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice.
Six sessions had previously been held to warm up for the event, with each featuring a different theme, such as body-building, parent-kid, couple and pregnancy.
