World-class horse industrial park to be built in Lianjiang

Zhongyun Horse Industry Group, a domestic leader in the horse industry, will build a world-class horse industrial park in Lianjiang Land Port Logistics Industrial New Town. Construction will begin in early July.

The plan was announced at the company's "Horse products, horse culture & horse science" press conference held in Shanghai Tower on May 28.

The horse industrial park will work with Hermès, the Dutch Biotechnology Research & Development Center, Nihon (Japan) Kolmar, and other top-notch enterprises to produce horse-related bioproducts, cosmetic products, leatherware, and beverages for human consumption, according to Huang Xin, president of Zhongyun Horse Industry (Guangdong) Co Ltd.

Lianjiang Land Port Logistics Industrial New Town is located at the intersection of Lianjiang Avenue and the Shantou-Zhanjiang Expressway. Costing six billion yuan ($937 million yuan), the 182-hectare complex hopes to become a new center for growth in the region. It will focus on nine core businesses, including modern logistics, boutique agricultural products, household appliances, exhibitions, e-commerce, financial services, technological innovation, culture, and accommodation.
