Experts from Silicon Valley in the US visited the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA) on May 28.

Xia Mingjiu, vice administrator of SAFEA, met with the delegation and held talks on furthering China-US talent exchanges and technical cooperation.

After he learned about the activities of the US-China Silicon Valley Talent Exchange in recent years, Xia mentioned that this year is the 40th anniversary of the reform and opening-up in China.

China will continue its international exchange and cooperation with a more open and more active attitude. He pointed out that although there will be some friction in the process of opening-up, resolving friction and conflict is a process in which both sides deepen their mutual understanding and common development.
