Shenyang metro lines to complete laying tracks in October

Two metro lines in Shenyang are hoping to finish laying tracks by the end of October, according to information from the metro project construction department.

As of May 22, tracks at a length of 44.5 kilometers have been installed on metro line 9, accounting for 68 percent of the whole project.

A total of seven sites on the line are laying tracks at the same time, it is estimated to be completed in October based on the present construction progress.

Metro line 10, which is 59.62 kilometers in length, has finished 56 percent of its track laying work; while the entire work of line 10 will be finished in August, two months earlier than line 9 as it has more construction sites.
