Bluetown to build a senior care town in Wolong

Bluetown Group, a leading domestic real estate developer, will invest more than 20 billion yuan ($3.1 billion) into the building of a senior care town in Nanyang's Wolong district, according to a cooperation agreement signed between the two parties.

Located in Pushan town, the senior care town is endowed with an advantageous natural environment near Zilingshan Forest Park and Longwanggou Reservoir. Apart from being quiet and peaceful, it enjoys all the urban conveniences, as the location is only 10 kilometers away from downtown Nanyang.

The project will focus on the development of ideal residential areas, with the elderly as its target population. Most importantly, the project promises to introduce an all-rounded service that cover healthcare, education, culture, tourism and agriculture, aiming to improve the town's living environment.

The construction of the senior care town will benefit from Bluetown's ample experience, as it has built a dozen towns nationwide, each with its own character. For example, the Chunfeng Changle in Hangzhou is characterized by modern agriculture, Angelababy Town in Huzhou by education, and Yue Opera Small Town in Shengzhou by culture and tourism.
