At the main venue of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, which covers an area of 105,000 square meters, a total of 2,308 delegations from governments, enterprises and institutions will participate in cultural exchanges and trade, showcasing tremendous achievements in the cultural industry, trendy designs, animation, publishing, digital culture, arts and crafts, and intangible culture heritages. The event will take place across nine halls.

Among the fair's various exhibitions, displays of products integrating traditional culture and high technology enjoy the most popularity. One example is the Virtual Reality Space Tour equipment set at the Hefei Pavilion, which applies VR technology to education. Visitors can observe Venus, the moon, or even the sun at an incredibly close distance by wearing special helmets. Another highlight of the fair is a special room that allows people to experience a traditional Suzhou garden over 1,400 kilometers away with the help of special 3D immersive experience technology.

At the Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Area, a Shenzhen-based company displayed a dragon made up of different porcelain products. Combining lighting technology with the dragon-shaped installation, visitors were treated to a visual feast while also gaining a better understanding of Chinese ceramics culture.

"Traditional Chinese cultures need to be bound with modern and advanced technology to help spread the cultures and analyze what young people are really interested in," said the head of Shiguang Yinji Typography, which set up a booth at the fair.

This year's fair has attracted 130 exhibitors from 42 countries and regions, including the UK, France, Spain, Romania, Latvia, Serbia, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. The exhibition areas for overseas exhibitors account for 20 percent of the total exhibition area. In Hall 7, the only hall for international exhibitors that covers 7,500 square meters, countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative display their traditional arts and crafts, creative designs, intangible cultural heritages, and cultural tourism resources, attracting many visitors.
