Shenyang university charity sales help students in need

Shenyang University of Technology in Liaoning province, recently held a charity sales event to raise money for students in need.

"We sell not goods, but love," said one volunteer. 

Held at the university three times since 2016, the charity drive first saw teachers and students visiting an impoverished village in Fuxin in the province.

Money from the sale of student-donated clothing, books and sketches will be used to provide meals and education for the village’s impoverished students, said Zhao Shanhua, president of the university’s young volunteers association.
