A traditional sacrifice ceremony praying for good harvest is held at the first Harbin Tonghe Fishing Festival in Datong River Water Reservoir on May 1. Datong county, located in the southern foothill of Lesser Khingan Mountains and the north bank of Songhua River, has beautiful landscapes and rich natural resources.
