The third China Otog Banner Malan Flower Festival will open at Malan Flower Prairie Tourist Area in Otog Banner, Ordos, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, from April 29 to May 1.

During the festival, visitors can savor the beauty of the prairie which is dotted with thousands of malan flowers, which are regarded as the city flowers of Ordos, as well as Otog Banner

Meanwhile, a series of distinctive activities will also take place in Malan Flower Prairie Tourist Area and in other tourist areas around Otog Banner.

Activities including artistic performances, a bonfire carnival, camping, a beauty contest, a kite festival, desert car racing, and a tour themed around China’s revolutionary traditions are expected to take place.

A Nadam festival will also be held for visitors to experience the traditional sports event held in Inner Mongolia.

Otog Banner is rich in tourism attractions with a natural landscape and culture featuring desert, lakes, ancient city walls, grasslands and valleys.
