1.Duration of Climb

For most tourists, it takes at least four hours to climb to the top of Mount Tai. However, if you prefer to take some rest breaks during the climb, it may take closer to five hours.

2.Routes

East Route, also known as the Imperial Route, is the most popular and loved tourist route. It starts from the Mount Tai Arch and consists of 7,200 stone steps extending to the top of the mountain. Along the way, tourists can visit Red Gate Palace, Jing Shui Valley, Hu Tian Pavilion, and Eight Mountain Bends.

3. Temperature differences

Mount Tai has an elevation of 1,532.8 meters, so there is a huge temperature difference between the foot and the peak. Warm clothes are needed even in summer.

4.Shoes are needed

A pair of light and comfortable shoes are very important for protecting your feet.

5.Transportation

Buses can carry tourists to the midway gate to Heaven (halfway up the mountain), from which a cable car can be taken to the summit.
