New material industry

The key development projects for new materials are the Tai'an Composite Academy of Zhongyan for Industrial Technology, the Tai'an Glass Fiber Industrial Park，the optical fibre preform and optical fibre project, Ropenet Company's 2-ton high performance fiber rope intelligent manufacturing project, Road Group's intelligent highly integrated composite project, and Hismer Company's project involving new materials for medical and hygienic use and industrialization of the products.

The development of the new material industry will revolve around high-end glass fiber, high polymer materials, new types of building materials, special metals, function materials, and fine chemicals. Tai'an aims to make breakthroughs in key technologies and endeavors to build an influential industry cluster characterized by new materials.
