Huazi Mountain is part of the Xiao Hinggan Mountains, and consists of Dahuazi, Erhuazi, Sanhuazi and other small hills. Shaped like a plowshare, Huazi Mountain’s main peak is 680.7 meters high, and is regarded as a symbol of Tonghe county.
The climbing route in Huazi Mountain forest park is paved by a wooden trestle road and stone steps. Tourists can climb the mountain from Dahuazi hill and descend from Erhuazi hill, with the full route measuring 5,387 meters long. Along the way it is possible to see various scenic spots including a garden, valley, waterfall, a sculpture of a white horse, and a reclining Buddha statue. The service area has gardens and places for rest and recreation.
Huazi Mountain forest park holds the China·Harbin Tonghe mountain climbing festival on July 9 each year, which involves a series of climbing activities.
