Red classic tour in Shenyang

The 9.18 Historical Museum Site – CPC Manchuria Provincial Committee – Shenyang Korean War Martyr Cemetery – Northeast Army Institute and – Zhou Enlai Youth Study Site

The 9.18 Historical Museum is located at 46 Wanghua Nan Street, Dadong district, Shenyang. Using audio-visual media and numerous exhibition pieces, the museum documents the "18th of September Incident" of 1931 when Japanese forces attacked Shenyang.

The Site of the CPC Manchuria Provincial Committee is located in Heping district, and is a provincial cultural relics protection unit. It has only four rooms, but was the command center of revolutionary movements in Northeast China from 1927 to 1929.

Shenyang Korean War Martyr Cemetery is located in Huanggu district. The park has a martyrs monument, martyrs cemetery, martyr memorial hall, exhibition halls and other facilities. The main body of the monument is 23 meters high and is the cemetery’s landmark. 

The Northeast Army Institute is located at 25 Zhulin Road, Dadong district. The institute was established in 1906 and is the oldest military institution of Northeast China and also trained the most cadres. 

The Zhou Enlai youth study site is in Dadong district, and was formerly called the Mukden Officer Dongguan Model Primary School. Zhou Enlai studied there from the autumn of 1910 to July 1913.
