Ningbo to build Zhejiang's tallest building

Construction of the 409 meter Ningbo Center, to be the tallest building in Zhejiang, began with a groundbreaking ceremony held on April 9.

The center is being co-built by three renowned Chinese enterprises, namely, Shanghai Construction Group, Ningbo Shanshan Co and Greentown China Holdings Ltd. The construction will last for six years.

An upcoming new landmark in Ningbo, the center complex will include a world-ranking office building and super five-star hotels.

Located in the downtown, the center plans to attract regional headquarters of world top 500 companies and accumulate capital and high-profile talents.

The Ningbo Center is part of the whole Ningbo Center project, which also includes top luxury residences, a penthouse and a Hankyu Department Store.
