Li Chengyuan, a 26-year-old photographer, has been shooting Shenyang from the miniature perspective of Lego minifigures for nearly a year.

Standing 4 centimeters tall, the Lego minifigures Li photographs appear with different clothing, accessories, and facial expressions according to their roles.

Li has photographed Shenyang’s most famous places, from Mukden Palace to Zhongjie Street, as well as nondescript areas at bus stations, metro stations and the airport.

“Shenyang is a city with a long history and rich culture,” Li said. “I hope these photos can help more people become aware of Shenyang and encourage them to visit the city.”

Nearly 100 Lego minifigures have appeared in Li’s photos, many of them given by his friends and relatives.
