Guiyang Metro

Guiyang Metro Line 1 started construction in October, 2013 and is expected to be open for public use by December, 2018.

The new line will have a total length of 34.3 kilometers and 24 stations. It will run through Guangshanhu district from east to west and connect two transportation hubs: Guiyang Railway Station and Guiyangbei Railway Station.

The fare will be two yuan for the first four kilometers and an additional one yuan for every four kilometers after that.

The maximum speed of the train is 80 kilometers per hour. It will add much convenience to the lives of daily commuters.
