Shenyang gets new air services

China Express Airlines and Ruili Airlines recently launched several new routes to Shenyang, capital of Liaoning province for the summer-autumn travel season.

At 7:50 on March 25, a Ruili Airlines Boeing 737 took off from Shenyang Taoxian International Airport, marking the official opening of the Shenyang—Wuhan route.

On the same day, Ruili Airlines also launched Shenyang—Taiyuan—Kunming and Shenyang—Nanning services.

Discounted tickets were available with the lowest prices (excluding tax) for flights to Naning, Fuzhou, Lanzhou and Wenzhou starting at 500 yuan ($79.6), 550 yuan, 400 yuan and 470 yuan respectively.

Also, China Express launched a Shenyang—Rizhao—Chongqing on March 27. The flights operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

According to a staff member at China Express, the airline will offer a certain amount of limited special fares during the new flight season.

It is understood that this season, Shenyang Airport plans to offer 2,724 flights a week, with 148 routes to 97 destinations. Since March, Shenyang has seen a surge in demand for residents wanting to travel by air. It is expected that the launch of the new services will provide greater convenience to passengers.
