Yuxi-Pingtan Highway
The highway, which opened in 2010, starts from Yuxi town in Fuqing county in Fuhzou and ends at the Pingtan Haixia Bridge.
Changle-Pingtan Highway
The 21-kilometer Changle-Pingtan Highway connecting Pingtan with Fuzhou began construction in 2015 and is set to open to traffic by the end of 2018. Once completed, it is expected to cut journey times between Fuzhou and Pingtan from 90 minutes to just one hour.
