Take a morning drive to Longsheng Multinational autonomous county where Dong, Zhuang, Miao and Yao people live harmoniously together. The three-hour drive   is exceptionally beautiful, with rugged forested mountain slopes interspersed with a remarkable network of rice terraces, some rising several thousand feet into the air. Climb the "Rice Field Mountains", called the Back of the Dragon by locals, and enjoy the wonderful view of mountainous villages. A group of Yao people live on the mountainside. In Ximen Red Yao Village, you will gain a rare  glimpse into their unique life style and conventions. After a tiring drive, you will reach Hot Spring Hotel, where the heated naturally-formed hot spring will refresh and rejuvenate you.

They have natural nightingale-like voices and their song, the Sound of Cicada, has even stirred French music society. Upon arrival at Sanjiang County, drive northeastward to Chengyang and experience the Yongji Wind and Rain Bridge, the largest and oldest bridge of the Dong people. The hotel where you will stay tonight is built entirely of wood and is located next to the bridge, surrounded by bamboo trees.
