The Stuttgart-based Bosch, a Fortune 500 company, is expected to build a stronger partnership with Wuxi in order to establish Bosch Automotive Systems (Wuxi) Company.

The construction commencement ceremony for Bosch Automotive Systems (Wuxi) Company was held in Wuxi Hi-tech district on March 27, laying the foundations for new business developments involving the 48 volt battery system as well.

Li Xiaomin, Party secretary of Wuxi, who led an economic delegation to the Bosch headquarters in Germany last September, attended the ceremony.

Last September, both parties decided to cooperate fully in vehicle battery projects, automotive electrification, and application of IoT technologies, which led to new business developments involving the 48 volt battery system settling in Wuxi.
