COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Yangzhou) Co is a large heavy industry enterprise for ship and offshore. It is under the umbrella of the shipping industry cluster of COSCO Shipping Corporation Group. 

The company was set up in May 2007 with registered assets of 4.7 billion yuan ($748 million) and mainly engages in businesses of building large vessels, water floating devices and marine engineering equipment. 

Since its establishment, the company has successfully delivered more than 150 ships of various types to owners around the world, with a total carrying capacity of over eight million deadweight tons. 

The company is located in the Yangtze River Development Zone in Jiangdu, Yangzhou city, Jiangsu province. The factory is adjacent to the Yangtze River in the south and is nestled in the Jiajiang River. The water depth is gentle, the coastline is stable, and the geographical advantage is unique. It is the golden waterfront of shipbuilding.
