Shenyang Palace Museum exhibited a calligraphy masterpiece called The Zuiweng Pavilion by Wen Zhengming (1470-1559), on March 28.

As the only national first-class cultural relic of its kind in the museum, the work is 47 centimeters wide and 15 meters long.

Wen, a master of painting and calligraphy in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), created the piece aged 67.

The Zuiweng Pavilion is a masterpiece by Ouyang Xiu (1007-1072), a literary giant in the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127).

The exhibition will last for three months.
