Shenyang Pharmaceutical University

Shenyang Pharmaceutical University (SPU), situated in the city of Shenyang, has long been known for its history and its leading role in China’s pharmaceutical industry.

Since it was founded in 1931 as the Red Army Health School, the university has developed into a comprehensive pharmaceutical university, owning three campuses and covering a total of 1.43 million square meters.

SPU offers 20 undergraduate programs, five of which are national-level disciplines. The university has two post-doctoral research stations for Pharmacy and Traditional Chinese Pharmacy. 

SPU currently has 1,162 teachers, among which 114 are professors; and more than 10,000 students are currently enrolled at the university. 

SPU has not only established links with famous universities and colleges around the country, but also has 67 universities and institutions in 19 countries and regions, such as the United States, Japan and Russia.
