In situ chips developed by a Xiamen startup Chipsuperb appears in the lab of the University of California at Berkeley, marking the first step for the export of China's in situ chips, Xiamen Daily reported.

As basic materials, in situ chips can be applied to various fields. For example, the chips can greatly improve the observation capability of electron microscopes so that they can record the changes and movement of each atom with high-definition image.

Currently, Chipsuperb has developed analytical in situ chips, applied in situ chips and multi-functional in-situ electron microscopes. The technology has also been applied to medical tests, biological analysis and environmental monitoring.

Xiamen Chipsuperb Co is a hi-tech company established by Chinese returnees, integrating R&D, production and marketing and has forged partnership with University of California, Berkeley, Nanjing University, Xiamen University and other renowed universities.
