Wuxi International School

Wuxi International School, referred to as WIS, is a government owned international school in Wuxi. It was established in 2003 in order to provide an international education environment for children of foreign nationals living and working in China, as well as those from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. WIS enrolls students from kindergarten to secondary school.

WIS moved to a new campus in September, 2012. It is located in Taihu New Town which is the brand new symbol of the open, ecological modernized city. The new campus is about 48,000 square meters, and has 20 normal classrooms, a science lab, a music room, an art room, a library and a multifunctional gym. Some classrooms are equipped with advanced instructional media, such as handheld 3D printers, interactive multitouch tables and iPads.
