Xiamen Eye Center of Xiamen University

Xiamen Eye Center of Xiamen University, established on Nov 8, 1997, is a third-grade, class-A eye hospital dedicated in clinical service, teaching, scientific research and blindness prevention. It was formally affiliated to Xiamen University on June 7, 2006.

The center operates a state-of-the-art 30,000 square meter facility with 300 hospital beds and processes approximately 3 million outpatient visits, more than 1 million inpatients, and about 30 thousand operations every year.

Currently, it has more than 400 employees, including over 100 well-respected senior ophthalmologists and more than a dozen Msc and Ph.D student supervisors. It has also invited more than ten domestic and international world renowned experts to the center as advisors.
