Located 20 kilometers west of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Baishi Ecological Tourist Area is a national 3A-level scenic spot.
It is recognized as a National Water Park by the Ministry of Water Resources of the People's Republic of China.

As a major tourism project of Hohhot, the tourist area features rich trees including birch wood, aspen and apricot –– with vegetation coverage reaching 73 percent.
