Malvern College Qingdao

Malvern College Qingdao is a British international school in Chengyang district, Qingdao. It is affiliated to Malvern College in the United Kingdom, being its first overseas branch school, which opened in 2012. 

Malvern College Qingdao claims to be the first international high school for Chinese and international students authorized by a leading British boarding school and licensed by the Chinese authorities. 

Students at Malvern College Qingdao take a two-year A level program as full boarders, following a foundation course, with a view to going on to further education in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand. 

Subjects offered at the school include Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Computer Studies, Geography and Business Studies, with an ancillary Liberal Arts program focusing on developing high level English literacy and language skills. 

Malvern College Qingdao is managed by the Headmaster, John Kenny, in partnership with the College's Chinese partners. Malvern College has close and regular involvement in ensuring the quality of the educational offering, through regular visits to Qingdao by senior members of the college's management.
