Hangji High-tech Industrial Development Zone is located at the junction of Jiangdu and Guangling districts. It was approved and set up in May 2016 by the Jiangsu provincial government.
The zone is known as the "Chinese City of Toothbrush", "Chinese City of Hotel Commodity", and successively won awards including the "National Intellectual Property Rights Zone", "National Professional Demonstration Base of Foreign Trade Transformation and Upgrading", and "Jiangsu Tourism Daily Chemical Products Export Base".
At present, the zone has 16 national high-tech enterprises, over 1,500 patents, 2 Chinese well-known trademarks, 2 Chinese brand-name products, 5 national free-inspection products, and 29 Jiangsu famous trademarks.
The zone has successively built Colgate Sanxiao Company, Beijiajie Group national laboratory, Jiangsu Qionghua polymer materials engineering center, postdoctoral workstation, and various maker spaces. What's more, the zone has settled a national toiletries quality supervision and inspection center, the only industry technology testing platform in China, which can provide one-stop services of from raw materials, production to product inspection and testing.
