Located south of Daqingshan Mountain in the northern suburbs of Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Daqingshan Wildlife Park covers an area of 12,300 mus (820 hectares) and is the largest wildlife park in North China.

As a national 3A grade scenic site, the park comprises four scenic areas and 15 other functional areas. Visitors can watch wolves, Siberian tigers, African lions and a range of smaller animals, from peacocks and swans to sika deer and macaques, all freely ranging across the park. African species – like giraffes, antelopes and zebras – have been introduced to the park in recent years.

Daqingshan Wildlife Park covers 7826 mus (521 hectares) of green land, accounting for 86 percent of the area. The harmony between humans and animals can be seen at play here, with a complete tour of the park taking only two hours.
