Subway trains arrive every few minutes, generally from 6:30 am to 11:23 pm. Route signs are bilingual; useful maps showing station exits are located at the center of each platform, and all stops have announcements in Mandarin, Minnan dialect, and English.

As it crosses the sea for about two kilometers offering beautiful views to passengers, the subway line is praised as the most beautiful one in China.
