With 167 air routes from Xiamen to 84 cities of the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea, the United States and Europe, Xiamen International is the regional hub airport in East China. Scheduled direct cargo flights go to Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka, as well as to Chicago, Los Angles, Luxemburg, Amsterdam and Hong Kong. There are 36 cargo-only flights per week.
