Job fair to be held in Shenyang

A job fair targeted at university graduates and skilled workers will be held in Shenyang on March 18, in a bid to boost the city’s employment market.

The job fair is free to both employers and jobseekers, although they need to pass a qualification exam set for this event before the job fair starts.

Officials will check employers’ positions and salary information, and jobseekers need to provide real information from their ID card, graduation certificates, diplomas and skills certificates.

Qualified jobseekers can enter the fair on March 18 by showing their national ID cards.

Additionally, job fairs only targeted at graduates will be held every weekend of March and April in Shenyang.

The graduate job fairs will be held at two sites –– Shenyang Human Resources Market and Huafutiandi Shopping Mall. Some 300 businesses will be at the fair, including companies that work in information technology (IT), real estate, finance, aviation, equipment manufacturing, property services, as well as communication and transportation, with a total of 15,000 job vacancies on offer.
