Baotou businesses recognized for ecofriendly manufacturing

Two Baotou-based businesses were recognized for ecofriendly manufacturing according to a list of the second batch of environmentally conscious manufacturing companies released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, reports Baotou Daily.

The two businesses are Inner Mongolia Baogang Steel Union Co and Inner Mongolia King Deer Cashmere Co, established in 1999 and 1985 respectively.

A total of 208 factories, 53 products, 22 industrial parks and four model companies for supply chain management were included on the list.

The Environmentally Conscious Manufacturing Project is one of the five major projects included in the “Made in China 2025" strategies.
